Youth Camp
Join the Fun!
The Youth Camp is the perfect opportunity for kids of all skill levels to experience and grow in the exciting world of wrestling. To ensure every athlete has a valuable and enjoyable experience, participants are grouped by skill level. Life-long experienced youth wrestlers will gain critical mat time and advanced instruction, while rookies and brand-new wrestlers are grouped together to learn the fundamentals in a safe, supportive environment.

Camp Overview:
- Tailored Development: Wrestlers are grouped by experience, ensuring both advanced competitors and complete beginners get the exact coaching they need.
- Fun and Engaging: Learn and grow in a positive, supportive environment, whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or refining your competitive edge.
- Skill Building: Master essential wrestling techniques, from basic tumbling and footwork to advanced situational moves.
- Hands-on Learning: Practice your skills through engaging drills, live wrestling situations, and mat time.
- Friendly Competition: Participate in exciting competitions tailored to your group, including sumo wrestling, ankle tag, and takedown tournaments.
Camp Sections:
- Wrestling Movements: Develop core strength and agility with essential movements like tumbling, footwork, rolls, and spins.
- Technique & Practice: Learn, practice, and refine key wrestling techniques for neutral, top, and bottom positions (instruction scales with the group’s experience level).
- Games & Tournament: Put your skills to the test in exciting games and friendly, skill-appropriate competitions.
Eligible Wrestlers: K-8th grade wrestlers. This camp is perfect for life-long experienced youth wrestlers, athletes who have never stepped on a mat, and everyone in between!

Dates: July 6-9, 13-16, 20-23, or 27-30
Sessions: Daily from 9 AM – 12 PM
Keel Camps are run with the you’re-on-your-own format, so make sure you bring everything you’ll need to include water, food, and any gear you might need. A concession stand may be open during breaks. Trainers are normally not available during the clinics. Parents are welcome to OBSERVE but should refrain from participating, coaching, or interacting with their wrestler during the clinic without prior permission. Keel Camps are not resident camps.
